MATCH SUMMARY

Believe it or not it is another super over in just two days between the same teams and fourth one for New Zealand since the world cup and their loosing streak in super over continues.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bowl first,Southee replaced Kane Willamson as captain as he was suffered from shoulder injury. India making three changes replacing Rohit, Jadeja, Shami with Sanju Samson, Sundar, Saini respectively.

India did not looked comfortable today making many changes Samson who came in place of Rohit Sharma played super shot in second over first ball for six but soon after fell mistiming a shot in the same over.

Next Kohli hasn’t been for a long as he fell after a couple of good looking shots followed by Shreyas Iyer and wickets start tumbling. And India were 88/6 at one stage as Shivam Dube haven’t contributed much and gone. And the lone warrior Manish Pandey stood for India with unbeaten 50 helped India to post 165.

New Zealand made cautioned start but Guptill fell for the trap of short ball from Bumrah. And Colin Munro took the charge batted brilliantly looked like taking New Zealand home but he was run out with some brilliance from Virat Kohli for 64.

Then Tom Bruce was gone for three ball duck and Tim Seifeirt batted brilliantly reached his fifty but however New Zealand failed to score 7 runs in final over for victory as four wickets fallen in final over and that led to yet another super over in span of two days.

Bumrah bowled super over for India as Seifeirt and Munro came out to bat and Bumrah conceded 13 runs courtesy couple of dropped catches from India. Then Kl Rahul and Virat Kohli came out to bat for India and Kl Rahul dispatched first and second ball for six and four respectively and gone for third ball then Virat Kohli finished the game for India making it 4-0 with still game to play.
